ylometazoline is a sympathomimetic agent with marked alpha-adrenergic activity, and is intended for use in the nose. It constricts the nasal blood vessels, thereby decongesting the mucosa of the nose and neighbouring regions of the pharynx.

Indications:
• Nasal congestion.
• Acute rhinitis.

Active Ingredient:
Xylometazoline.

Side effects:
• Temporary burning.
• Stinging.
• Dryness in the nose.
• Sneezing may occur.

Cautions:
Patients are advised not to take decongestants for more than seven consecutive days.

How to use:
Blow your nose gently. Keep your head upright and insert the tip of the bottle into one nostril.
Do not blow your nose for at least a few minutes after using the nasal spray.
Do not use the nasal spray more than 3 times per day (every 8 to 10 hours).
